Raymond Royal Rife Royal Rife is considered one of the greatest scientific minds of the 20th Century. He is credited in the book, "The Cancer Cure That Worked", as the man who discovered a cure for cancer and many other diseases… simply by using vibrational energy. A "Rife machine" works on the principle of sympathetic vibration and resonance, which states that if there are two similar objects and one of them is vibrating, the other will begin to vibrate as well, even if they are not touching.

Rife learned that different species of life have their own electromagnetic 'signature', or pattern of oscillation (frequency) based on its individual genetic chemical blueprint.  It's different for all.  Dr. Rife discovered that viruses, bacteria, and parasites are particularly sensitive to their own specific 'bio frequencies' and could be destroyed by intensifying those frequencies until chemical changes occur within the pathogen and it would devitalize and die.  Sometimes they could see them literally explode... like an intense musical note that can shatter a wine glass.

As Christopher Bird reported in the New Age article, regarding bacterium/viruses, "...many lethal those of tuberculosis, typhoid, leprosy . . . appeared to disintegrate or 'blow up' in the field of his microscope." 

 

What is Sympathetic Vibration?   - we like this summary, offered by www.sweetwater.com/insync/sympathetic-vibration/ A vibration produced in one material (in our case cells and microbes) by the vibrations of the same frequency, or a harmonic multiple of that frequency, from a sound wave in contact with the object (in our case cells and microbes), by means of the air (in our case plasma tube) or an intervening material (in our case wires with metal pads). A common example of sympathetic vibration is to sound a tuning fork and bring it close to, but not touching, another fork of the same frequency. The second fork will then begin to vibrate sympathetically. If the forks are mounted on resonating boxes, the effect will be stronger and thus heard better. The same effect can be observed by shouting or singing near a set of undamped piano strings. In physics, vibration is commonly referred to as an oscillation – a movement, first in one direction and then back again in the opposite direction. You can observe this, for example, by striking the prongs of a tuning fork, or by plucking the string of a musical instrument. Sound is produced by the vibrations of a body that are transmitted through material media (air, for example) in waves of varying pressure. When a sound wave of one frequency strikes a surface, that surface will vibrate naturally at the same frequency.  This is called sympathetic vibration. Any reinforcement (increase) of sound resulting from the sympathetic vibration is called resonance. Most construction materials have low resonant frequencies, so low frequency sounds can easily cause sympathetic vibrations in such structures. This is commonly experienced when bass notes of music penetrate walls and ceilings. At the other end of the frequency spectrum is the classically trained singer who is able to smash a wine glass, by finding its resonant frequency and attacking that pitch at full volume.

 

Royal Rife's "Universal Prismatic Microscope"

 

What Royal Rife built initially was his "Universal Prismatic Microscope". This incredible microscope amplified his view of LIVE SPECIMENS by up to 60,000 times! This allowed him to view live pathogens in controlled environments.  Rife was the FIRST PERSON in the world to actually see (and photograph) live viruses!  Rife found a means to building this microscope with a very long optical path with specially-ground quartz prisms in the barrel of his microscope. In addition, he determined that white light, which contains all wavelengths of visible light, was not suitable for high-magnification optics, and used a "Risley" prism between his light source and the sample, thus illuminating the sample with a single frequency of monochromatic light (very similar to high-definition research microscopes of today which use lasers).

Royal Rife's microscope was a stunning advance. Unlike the electron microscope, Rife's microscope made it possible to study living bacteria, viruses, fungi, and so forth. An electron microscope kills it's specimens. Royal Rife's remarkable breakthrough used a new approach to bend light. As an end result, Rife was able to prove that bacteria could change their form (or die), because he and others could literally watch it happen!

Rife then began beaming different frequencies on these microorganisms to study the effect.  What he found was that bacteria could transform into cancer causing viruses. Rife implanted his cancer-causing bacteria into rats.  Rife inoculated 411 lab animals with this virus, created 411 tumors, and then eliminated all 411 of them. He did the same with many other diseases. From here, Rife made the startling discovery that the bacteria could change into a completely different form if the "medium on which they were living" was slightly altered. In other words, Rife's cancer causing substance was, in some forms and in association with some environments within the body, deadly. But in other forms and in other environments, benign. His cancer causing substance could be changed back and forth from one to the other. The implications of this discovery are enormous. Rife's work demonstrated that cancer cells might be transformed to healthy cells again!

Up until the early 1950s, Rife spent his life perfecting this method. After nearly 20,000 unsuccessful attempts, Rife finally isolated and identified the human cancer virus, and named it Cryptocides Primordiales.

The discoveries of Royal Rife were presented to the Smithsonian Institute in Washington and the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia along with the frequency generators used.

A report from the Smithsonian Institution in 1944 validates Rife's work. Titled "The New Microscope" by Dr. R.E. Seidel (report #3781) it states "Under the Universal Microscope disease organisms such as those of cancer ... and other disease may be observed to succumb when exposed to certain lethal frequencies..." In layman's terms, that means they used the Universal Microscope to watch as they used a frequency generator to kill certain virus cells, such as cancer. This report confirms... Rife's frequency therapy did work!

This virus death ray was applied to cancers in rats and it worked. The next step was humans. The results were astounding. "14 out of 16 terminal patients cured!"

Here is Royal Rife's report summary:  "The first clinical work on cancer was completed under the supervision of Milbank Johnson, M.D., which was setup under a special medical research committee of the University of Southern California. Sixteen cases were treated at the clinic for many types of malignancy. After just 3 months, 14 of these so-called hopeless cases were signed off as clinically cured by a staff of medical doctors and Alvin G. Ford, M. D., pathologist for the group." (Note: At the time of the study's conclusion, the remaining 2 people were not cancer free; however, it is known that both patients did eventually recover under Rife's supervision.)

Throughout the 1930's, 40's and 50's, Royal Rife and his associates continued their work. In 1940, Arthur W. Yale, M.D. reported that Rife's discoveries were an entirely new theory of the origin and cause of cancer, and the treatment and results have been so unique and unbelievable "...that we may be able to eliminate the second largest cause of deaths in the United States".

In a New Age Journal March 1976 article, the story of Rife's cancer cure was detailed. Since then, Rife has been nominated for the "Alternative Nobel Prize" which is annually awarded in Europe as a protest to the more established, less risk taking Swedish honor. Yet, little notice of Rife and his miraculous discovery has infiltrated the establishment's main stream awareness.

In a brief history of Rife written in 1954 by John Crane, he states that Royal Rife received an honorary Doctor of Parasitology (Science) degree from the University of Heidelberg in 1914. In 1936, Rife received an honorary Doctor of Science degree from the University of Southern California. Dr. Rife won 14 government awards for scientific discoveries. Where technology didn't exist, Rife invented it. Examples include the first micro-dissectors, micro-manipulators, and heterodyning ultraviolet microscopes.

Perhaps his most special legacy is the incredible growing field of science he left behind for us. Today's "rife machines" (inaccurately named) are finding their way into more and more homes everyday.
 

 

A Brief History of the Development of Rife's Frequency Generator

Dr. Rife passed away in 1971.  The last machine built under his direction was built in the 1950’s. Dr. Rife used the available equipment of the day in his instruments. The instrument Dr. Rife used in the 1934 clinic was assembled from standard off-the-shelf frequency generating equipment.    By 'off-the-shelf', we mean that anyone could purchase this equipment because it was standard electronic equipment. 

In 1923 Dr. Rife purchased the Colin B. Kennedy Company equipment.  Dr. Rife used the Kennedy Model 110, 220 and 281 in his work on micro-organisms. The Model 110 had the broadest frequency range of these three models. It went from 12,000 Hertz to about 2 million Hertz. The frequencies that Dr. Rife used with the Kennedy equipment ranged from 139,200 Hertz for Anthrax to 1,604,000 (adjusted to 1,607,450 Hertz in 1936) for the BX cancer virus.

The audio frequencies that were used by Dr. Rife’s machines from 1936 through the 1950's were never intended to treat disease directly. The audio frequencies were used to create RF (radio frequency) sideband frequencies which would hit the correct higher harmonic RF frequencies that would actually kill or devitalize the organisms.

(In radio communications, a sideband is a band of frequencies higher than or lower than the carrier frequency, containing power as a result of the modulation process. The sidebands consist of all the Fourier components of the modulated signal except the carrier. - Wikipedia  )

Dr. Rife’s engineer, Philip Hoyland, built all of Dr. Rife’s instruments from 1935 to 1938. He built the instruments that used the audio frequencies and never told Dr. Rife or any of their business partners in the Beam Ray Corporation how the instrument worked. Philip Hoyland was trying to protect his interest, and the Company's interests from those who might try to steal their technology.

This was necessary because they were not able to patent the frequencies or the Rife Ray equipment. This was because all this technology was in public domain. Philip Hoyland ended up taking the Beam Ray Corporation to court in a legal dispute, which he lost. Though Dr. Rife and the Beam Ray Corporation won the legal battle against Philip Hoyland, they still did not find out how Philip Hoyland designed these audio frequency instruments to work on harmonics. The Beam Ray Company came to its end in 1939 because the legal battle bankrupted the Company. The secret of Philip Hoyland’s audio frequency instrument remained hidden until 2010, when an original instrument was analyzed.

The instrument used a ray tube and had one variable Audio oscillator and one Fixed RF oscillator set at 3.30 or 3.80 MHz. Power usage was about 450 to 600 watts. Output to the ray tube about 75 RF watts.

For the past 60+ years no one knew exactly how the Rife Ray #5 or Beam Ray Clinical instrument audio frequencies worked with the high RF carrier frequency. Due to this lack of knowledge many people have been wrongly using the audio frequencies for the 'treatment' of disease. What even made things worse is in the 1950’s two of Dr. Rife's business partners, John Crane and John Marsh, lowered the audio frequencies by a factor of ten times. (This decision was made because they did not understand how the instrument really worked.)

The changes that were made at this time compromised the instrument's effectiveness. Because of these mistakes, the wrong frequencies have been used for almost 60 years and people have built instruments that can only output low audio frequencies. This means that almost all the frequency generators that people call "Rife machines" which are sold on the market today are limited to just low audio frequencies and cannot output Dr. Rife's original high RF frequencies. Many people ask, why would anyone want to be limited to the low audio frequencies, which were wrongly used for the treatment of disease, when Dr. Rife’s correct frequencies were all in the higher RF range? (Why indeed.)  It was Dr. Rife’s high RF frequencies that Dr. Milbank Johnson used in the 1934 cancer and tuberculosis clinic, not the low audio frequencies.

After the 1934 clinic, Dr. Milbank Johnson wanted an instrument built that would be put into the comforts of a single cabinet.  Dr. Rife’s original equipment consisted of several pieces of equipment and was difficult to move around. In 1935 Philip Hoyland was hired by Dr. Johnson and Dr. Rife to move the frequency generating equipment forward from the 1920's technology to the newer technology available in the 1930's. This new instrument was called the Rife Ray #4. But even this new instrument was nothing revolutionary, because it was a standard design used during that time period.

One year later in 1936 Philip Hoyland built the Rife Ray #5 or the Beam Ray Clinical machine, and it used a standard M.O.P.A. transmitter design. M.O.P.A stands for “Master Oscillator Power Amplifier.” This design had been used for several years and all Hoyland did was attach the ray tube where the metal antenna was connected. A ray tube was just an X-ray tube re-gassed with noble gases such as neon, argon or helium. These gases do not put off any harmful X-rays and were safe to use. The safety of these gases have been proven over the many years by the fact that light bulb companies use these types of gases in the light bulbs that they sell for public use.

The Rife Ray #4 built in 1935 used Dr. Rife’s original high RF frequencies that ranged from 139,200 Hertz to 1,607,450 Hertz.   Dr. Rife’s #4 instruments used these frequencies directly output through the ray tube. It did not used Philip Hoyland’s Beam Rays M.O.P.A. design which hid the frequencies in order protected their technology.

The important thing to remember is the audio frequencies used in the instrument were not used for the treatment of disease (directly). This is where the big mistake has been made for the last 60 years. The audio frequencies were used to create harmonic high frequency sideband frequencies. It was one of these harmonic sideband frequencies that would hit a higher harmonic of Dr. Rife's original frequency and treat the disease. This sounds somewhat complex and this is why Philip Hoyland was able to hide the method he used in the Rife Ray #5 instrument.

This same basic M.O.P.A design was updated and used in the 1953 AZ-58 style Beam Ray Clinical replica audio instrument. The major difference that was made to the 1953 AZ-58 instrument was the audio frequency range. Due to the lack of understanding how the instrument really worked, the audio frequencies were lowered by a factor of ten times. This made it so the sideband method used by Philip Hoyland to produce the proper high RF sideband frequencies no longer worked. Another big mistake was made when they changed the high RF carrier frequency. If the RF carrier frequency was changed then the audio frequencies would not work because they were calculated to match the carrier frequency to produce the proper sideband frequencies which treated the disease. These two mistakes compromised the 1953 AZ-58 instrument and made it so it no longer worked on Dr. Rife’s high RF frequencies.

By the late 1950's Dr. Rife’s business partners, John Crane and John Marsh, decided to take an off-the-shelf frequency generator and try using in it with the same low audio frequencies used by the 1953 AZ-58 Beam Ray replica ray tube instrument.   Instead of using the ray tube instrument they plugged some metal disks with handles into the off-the-shelf frequency generator and used them to make contact with the body.

Today most people use metal hand cylinders and foot plates.  They easier to use and more affordable than the light beam method.  Some companies put down this method of using metal hand cylinders and claim that only a ray tube will work due to their incorrect understanding of the "Skin Effect."  The first link below will take you to a page on this site that will show that metal hand cylinders work better than ray tubes within certain power ranges. RF Frequencies and the "Skin Effect"

This simple change of using metal hand cylinders worked better than they ever thought it would. This also made it possible for anyone to take a standard off-the-shelf frequency generator and use it with any of the frequencies found by Dr. Rife, as long as the frequency generator had the correct frequency range and power output. Unfortunately the off-the-shelf generator that they used did not have a high enough frequency range to output Dr. Rife true high RF frequencies. It was only capable of outputting low audio frequencies. Thus was born many of the low audio frequency instruments which are used today and are called "Rife Machines".

Opinion...

The idea to use a standard off-the-shelf frequency generator was a good idea. But using one with a low audio frequency range only was not. This common sense decision to use standard off-the-shelf frequency generating equipment, of the correct frequency range, means that anyone can use standard off-the-shelf frequency generating test equipment the way that Dr. Rife did, as long as it has sufficient power output. There are companies that sell many so called "Rife Machines."   Most of these so called Rife machines are nothing but low audio frequency generators. They call them "Rife Machines" in order to get people to believe that their generator is somehow different than a standard off-the-shelf frequency generator.

As explained, Dr. Rife used frequencies that ranged from the audio range to the high RF range. To cover this range requires a frequency generator that has a range from 1 Hertz to about 18 million Hertz. (Rife's highest known frequency was over 17,000,000Hz)  Most people want to use ALL the frequencies that Dr. Rife found, not just a few of them. This is where these so called "Rife Machines" fall short. They only output frequencies in the low audio range and have no capability of putting out frequencies in the range that Dr. Rife used in his 1920's, 1930's, 1953 equipment, nor do they use the carrier wave method of delivery. Because of the initial mistake of using the audio frequencies, many people started to use other audio frequencies to see if they could possibly help with additional health problems. Because of this decision there are many hundreds of audio frequencies which have been found that have helped with hundreds of other health conditions. Somehow, out of this mistake of using the wrong frequencies, a positive thing happened!

Because of what has been explained here, when people are shopping for a true Rife style frequency generator, they should make sure that they purchase one that... 1) covers the full range of frequencies that Dr. Rife and Hoyland used, 2) uses an optional carrier wave for more power, penetration and better harmonics , and 3) it has enough power to properly delivery these frequencies.

Note: These devices have not been approved in the U.S. for treating illness with humans. It has, however, been approved for use in veterinary applications in the US.  Little formal medical research has been done in the US; however, several types of Rife-type frequency devices are medically licensed in Germany and a few other countries.

Although almost no empirical data exists here in the U.S. (no doubt due to the FDA's negative attitude and action toward self-health and freedom), there are 1000s and 1000s of people who have reported their own successes. (us included!) This is undeniable.   Is this scientific data?  Perhaps not, but it certainly begs the question:  why, why, why is this science NOT being studied fervently in clinical settings? 

Of course these devices don't "work" for everyone.  What does?  But it raises many questions.  Why not?  Were these unsuccessful people using the right frequencies?  Was their device underpowered?  Were they too late?  Were they still smoking, drinking, and eating GMO processed dead food and drinking filthy tap water?  Were they continually exposed to environmental toxins that continually poisoned their bodies and kept their immune systems from working properly?  How many vaccines were they given in their lifetime?  What is their exposure to EMF poisoning devices? There are many issues to be examined.
